Mainly Music
We’re excited to announce that Mainly Music will be starting up again at Holy Cross in February!
Mainly Music is a much-loved, friendly program for babies, toddlers, preschoolers (typically 0–5 years) and their parents or caregivers. Each session is filled with joyful music, singing, dancing, movement, stories, and play—designed to create special shared moments of delight, connection, and learning in a warm, accepting environment.
It’s a wonderful opportunity for young children to explore rhythm, sounds, and actions together with their grown-ups, while building friendships and enjoying quality family time.
Exact dates and session times for our new term will be confirmed soon — watch this space or check our events calendar.
In the meantime, if you’d like to express interest or be notified when registration opens, please contact Jill or keep an eye on our Facebook page/newsletter.We look forward to welcoming new and returning families!

Down Memory Lane
Returning in February: Down Memory Lane
Great news—Down Memory Lane will resume at Holy Coss in February!
This caring, volunteer-led program offers a safe, welcoming space for older adults to come together for a relaxed morning of activities that stimulate the mind and spark joy.
Each session typically includes:
- A friendly welcome and introduction
- Gentle chair exercises
- Lively conversation and reminiscing
- Fun multi-sensory activities
- A creative craft
- Morning tea and fellowship
It’s a laughter-filled time to clear away any brain fog, exercise memory through shared stories and experiences, and enjoy meaningful connection in a compassionate, supportive group.
Exact dates and times for the new term will be finalised shortly — stay tuned to this page or our weekly bulletin.
If you’re interested in joining (or know someone who might enjoy it), feel free to reach out for more details or to register your interest. Contact Jill on 0400 513 943
We’re looking forward to seeing familiar faces and welcoming new ones!
Thoughts:
If the cosmos evokes awe, the Cause of the cosmos must be infinitely more awe-inspiring.
If creation is God’s “icon” then environmental degradation is iconoclasm.
Abusing the theatre brings the play to an end.
